This is the name of the drug that your doctor has prescribed. If you see the words 'Sub For' below the drug name it means that this drug was substitued in place of the original drug written by your doctor. This is normal when a name brand drug is written and it is substituted with a generic drug.
Doctor
This is the name of the doctor that prescribed this medication to you.
Refill Authorization
This is one of the most important pieces of information on your label. This tells you how many times you may get your medicine refilled. If it says 'NO REFILLS AUTHORIZED' the doctor must be called to get the refill authorized before you may pick it up next time. Please allow time for this since doctor's office hours can vary. It may also say that you have a certain number of refills remaining. This means you can get your prescription refilled that many more times within a one year period, on most prescriptions, whichever comes first. If it says it can be refilled through a certain date you can get your prescription refilled through that date. Also your insurance can determine how often you may get your medication refilled.
